Is there a way to do this? I just want to know more about the engine and trans, stuff like that.

Ask around. This can be tough as privacy laws have put the kibosh on releasing DMV records. Cruise ins are good sources for this. Also, don't bother contacting Chrysler, they'll tell you they know nothing.
