1969 polara 500 for sale...
new to the forum...i have a 69 polara 500 that i have for sale...has the super lite option...383 factory original 4 barrel, power seats, 2door hdtp, ac, original hubcaps, front disc brakes, runs and drives...original oregon car...second owner. the car is in OK shape. runs and drives. has been parked since 1986. I got it a year ago and fired it up and drove it after replacing all fluids in transmission, engine, and brakes. dropped the tank and flushed it out, rebuilt the carb, replaced fuel pump, fuel lines, rear brake cyl's.,etc...the interior is shot after sitting for so long. the vinyl top is no longer. Car is white with green interior. Body has a couple of dents in it but no MAJOR damage. There is no rust through. I would like to get around $3250 for it??? i can definitely send all the photo's you would like if anyone would be interested. i just have too many projects...1940 dodge 4dr, 1935 dodge pickup, 1941 colton bicycle, honda cx500 bobber, etc...would be willing to sell the 40 4dr as well...it has a nova front clip in it...I am located in Medford Oregon...if any one has any feed back please dont hesitate to chat it up...

i see a lot of people looking at the post...what would a good price be? evidently $3250 is too much? just would like to be reasonable with the price. Thanks to all who are looking...any feedback would be appreciated.

Polara 500 Project
I live in Southern California. I bought a great running green 1969 Polara 500 Convertible for $2000 two years ago with the intention of restoring it. It has the same 383 4-barrel engine, power seats and windows. The interior is green but it needs a complete replacement. There are some rust issues. I have been looking for an inexpensive donor car to help replace non-reproduction pieces. Recently, there is a guy in Palm Springs CA who has two 1969 Polaras for sale. One is a convertible and the other is a donor car. He has lowered his price to $3000 for both. His convertible is red and so the interior pieces would clash unless I tried to paint them. It seems that your price is too high for this model. Oh, by the way, my convertible has only 116,000 actual miles but the years have been tough on the plastic parts and the dash pad. I may consider your car if the price was significantly lower.
