1971 Charger R/t 440 6 Pack 80000 mile survivor Phoenix Garage find
Like the header says,
$45,000 OBO
Original paint
Original interior
440 6 Pack
Hideaway headlights
Automatic
I have spent some time on the phone with Galen Govier and from the information I have sent him it appears to be a numbers matching car.
Fm Cassette with recorder and microphone
Rear window defroster.
According to GTS it is one of 38 known to exist in the U.S. and the only one Galen is aware of with original paint.
Immediate needs to drive,
valve cover gaskets,
trans tailshaft seal,
Carb job, including idle solenoid.
mufflers should be done.
The car is about 95% original, the only things I have found not correct is the battery, the fuel filtration and some small wiring issues.
I got the car started this spring (it had been sitting for over 2 years, I changed the oil, pumped the fuel tank out and an it on 93 octane fuel with Sea Foam, Lead additive, and stabilizer in it.
It would take about a day to get it right to drive (I believe).
It would take about 2 days with my polisher and I to make this original paint look amazing.
There is no rust other than the usual areas.
The sail panel
And under the trunk mat.
There is no rust through on either of these spots.
The floor pans are solid. the car evidently was undercoated when new. I have a few pictures underneath the car, on one you can see where the undercoating is chipped off and the original paint is underneath.
Here are 94 pictures and a few videos.
Enjoy.

I need to move this car before the end of the year.
