I have a 66 Barracuda with a 273 v8 and i am wondering what type of manual transmission i should be looking for, also if anyone has a diagram of the distributor, and all the wires that go to the ignition switch. The guys i got the car from hooked the coil up backwards and played with the wires so i dont know what is melted/ fried or where it should go.

 

the A-833 four speed would be the orig that came with your car if thats what u r looking for? as far as ignition. it came with points but is it still with points or is it electronic now? if its not electtronic now i strongly suggest switching it to electronic the kit will set u back 200 but worth it. or do what i did go MSD
