When you say "cop wheels" are you saying that they were simply removed from a police car? If so most full size police cars today are crown vics, unless its and older dodge as in polara from the 60's like the car on andy griffin (and barny fife) that was a 65 polara so....what I'm getting at is what kind of car do these wheels fit?

By golly you are correct sir, I just assumed, never really watched the show much I was just told it was a polara (from the guy I bought mine from) yes it is a 65 ford galaxie and I guess a number of them were used between (model years) 62 to 65 or so I found in my 5 min research on the web. At the risk of sounding totaly stupid here I actually repair police and fire equipment for a living. I guess I never looked that close at the tires (rims) on our crown vics.
P.S. In case of courisoty I also (use to about 5 years ago) repair street sweepers, tymcos, mobile md9, elgin road wizards and a few odd ***** hence the name "road wizard"
p.s.s. I know, too much info here....sorry
