Hey rcknrolfender79 have you tried Year One or one of those places. Im thinking the 72-74 hoods are no different then the 70-71 models.

If you find a flat top hood you can make it into a shaker but a lot of work to do that and to get it right.

I ordered a hood from Stephens Performance years ago for an R/T when shipped was $800 bucks.

I would check with one of the used places it might be the best bet or a repro hood. Good luck man, really like the 72-74 years and a rally is awesome.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I have checked into year one, but man they want a fortune for one. You can get one off of ebay a bit cheaper. But then again you have to pay for shipping lol. So I am hoping I can find a used one that someone just had setting around extra for a little better deal. And I love the 72-74 years also. Love the rear clip on 'em. But I have to say I like the 70 grill alot more than on the 72-74. Also going to be shopping for a 70 grill someday. But I can live with mine for now. Also I have just the regular flat hood on mine now. But by time I get done with buying all the seals and the actual shaker its self I would probably have well enough wrapped up in it to buy a rally hood. Honestly I like the rally more. The shakers have a pretty cool concept but it doesnt seem like they add as much to the car as the rally does. But everyone has their own opinion on things.
