offenhauser 273 intake manifold
i have an intake manifold for sale it fits the 64' and 65' 273 engine. i bought it a while ago thinking it would fit my 73' 318 but the manifold has the holes for the bolts drilled in a different angle. i had to call offenhauser to find out why. it's still in good shape, the only thing is that i painted it black thinking that it would fit. im askin for $150, im located in northern california. i am willing to ship, but you pay shipping. email me at MXN002@YAHOO.COM for pictures or if you are interested.

i did the same thing. and learned by it as well as you did, but i was stubborn and i oblonged those holes. tighten the manifold down and started it up. . . well it idled like i had a HUGE cam in it. the angle of early 273 heads differ of the later 318 340 and 360 well when you hit full throttle that vacuum leak leans the fuel out and wow.. its like a 150 shot of nos. but it over heats within 30 minutes... but wow what that leak can do.. lol
