1940 Black Business Coupe 340
I bought this on a whim thinking I would be driving it within a year. I didn't realize how much work I was getting into. It was a good way to use up spare time though. Working on it was better than watching TV or mowing the grass. Four years later it's done and I can go to car shows instead of watching TV.

The owner didn't want to take it with him, so I bought it. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...28626b036.jpeg After a month in chemical stripper it came back with more rust holes :-) https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...18226087f.jpeg it needed a total floor replacement. Panels weren't available so I made these https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...662a7a94d.jpeg I made the trunk floor and re-routed the gas filler neck. that's the reason for the hump on the left https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...179924093.jpeg Back seats are from a Ford Ranger |
