Greetings!
Managed to get out of the 4 door Belvedere II before I lost my a$$. Had my eye on a 68 Coronet 4door, with the thought it was going to take a few more flips before I could afford a real muscle car. Then the MoPar gods smiled on my family and we found this in our price range:

Been in storage past 15 years, in same family for 39. It was handed down from father (owned 9 years) to son (owned 30). Doing the math, could happen agian in our family.
Very honest and orginal survivor. Dot a single dent in it anywhere. Paint is orginal, but tired. Interior needs redone, but its all there.
Only non stock items are tow hitch (wasn't an available option untill '67) and a later 383 4bbl/maniforld.
She fired right up, but didnt want to run old gas through it.
Put in new windsheld today and went through the brakes. Will be installing new gas tank/sender and full fluid swap/tune up tomorrow.
Now the Snowtrooper's are really back in the saddle.....

Great find, for you the summer is right around the corner {short winter to get the work done} have fun cruising your new ride

Sweet !!!!!!!!!!
Congrats :)

Thanks!
Did the tune up and put the new tank in today.
She's only firing on 5.5 cylinders. 0 compression in 2 and low on another. Looks like head work is next. Did a leak down test to confirm issue was heads, not cylinders.
Nice thing is, just happen to have a set of heads from a complete 1969 383 B block avaialble. Likely throw those on just to get her up and running. Was thinking of doing it anyway, but now I don't really have a choice I think.
Need to do a little more research, but what ive seen over at allpar the should bolt right on.

Sorry, think I'm mistaken.
After checking stamping on 383 block, it appears it is "just" a B block. Was going off last owner's description. Had not checked numbers before I posted....
OP edited for clarity....

Cool car

I also just purchased a 66 charger (project car w 90% parts) last month.
Do you know of a website for interior & exterior parts?

Had a 66 383 4 bbl Car. Was a factory three on the tree. But it had a 318 truck motor in it. Then me and my brother built a 66 with a 440 s and it was nice. Both were red by the way... Popular colot I'd say... Smile.:)
