Car looks real good and extremly clean for it's age. Too bad they changed out the original radiator though. It would be completey original if it had it.

I'm not too much into keeping "totally" original and my mechanic said that the alluminum radiator is actually a good thing, and helps keeps the car running cooler. I don't know but it is a brand new radiator so that's nice. Also my hub caps are from an 89 new yorker! I think they look surprisingly at home on this car though! This thing is a real money pit so far though...

Paid $6500 for the car and was told it needs nothing, yeah nothing except...
New Ball Joints upper and lower
New tie rods and tie rod ends
New idler arms
New Master cylinder (converted to a dual for safety)
Breaks were brand new though so that was good
New Accelerator Cable
New distributor
New Cap rotor points condenser plug wires.
New set of tires all around (was told they were like new but were totally dry rotted)
Recore on heater core and evaporator for A/C and A/C refurb and convert.
New dash lamps which were all burnt out

Did all that work and now it still needs...
New turn signal switch, Gas Gauge repair probably a new sending unit

Two real pluses my engine and trans were just rebuilt before I got it.
Engine and Trans look all shiny and new!

For a car that "needs nothing" I was surprised at how much it needed!
Still worth it and love driving this beast! Chirped the tires without even trying yesterday leaving my house, that was fun!!! My Scion xB only dreams about being able to do that!!!

I'm starting to really enjoy mine except the 8 miles per gallon isn't all that fun! gotta love filling the 25 gallon tank. :)
