Here's my driver project. The 383 runs good after not being fired up for 10 years. Getting ready to rebuild the tranny. Rear end and suspension seem good, or at least good enough for now.

Cool project, what are your plans? Make sure the brake hoses are okay, they don't last long when a car sits that long.

If you have front disk brakes watch out for the calipers. You most likely have drums all around. That big car will suck some gas also. Welcome aboard.

How do you know the rear is an LSD? (oh, and it’s not posi——that’s a GM term)

Cool car! many times I have wished mine came with a big block, but the little 318 can be built for some good thump.

I believe when open diff cars spin wheels on ice only one wheel spins? Going restomod with it. Brakes are fine minus the shoes being a little worn (yes it is full drums). Yeah it has a drinking problem but it's fun!
