1998 Indy Red Sebring Coupe FJ 6G73

Hey fellas. I know my ride is pretty outclassed here for the most part with legends and classics floating around. But regarding my platform overall, there are few and far between FJ's that are worth a damn these days.

The engine itself isnt worth much. Especially trying to push 3000lbs at the front wheels :(. But when the intake is opened up with a nicer system...the car sounds and breathes alot easier. Aside from very thorough maintenance on the mechanics of the car, nothing else has been done besides my Injen Cyborg OAI.

Improving suspension on the car has helped tremendously though. Factory suspension was terrible. Wobbly body roll, hard listing, etc. With Eibach springs came a 2.0 inch drop in ride height and improved stiffness. And the KYB AGX shocks keep the car level and planted during spirited driving. Its not the best suspension, but its worlds apart from OE suspension. A Neuspeed strut tower brace keeps the car united during tight turns. Brembo cross-drilled and slotted rotors have improved braking by leagues.

The Sebring sits on Yokohama Parada Spec-2 235/40/18ZR tires paired up with TSW Montage 18x8 rims.

The rest of my improvments have been cosemetic. Keeping the car clean, tasteful, and professionally modified has been my goal. She looks good and drives good. It just needs more power.

My future plans include OEM carbon fiber hood and decklid, Borla full-catback exaust, and 1997+ Dodge Avenger front fascia.

My first post about my car. And now here it is....shots taken between Summer 2010 and 29 May 2011. Just cleaned it up some.

is that an old school pistol grip shifter?

Thanks GTX. Im a fan of wheels that flow with the design of a car. The Montages have a smooth flow that reminded me of the aethetics of the car. They're heavy though....but weight is already a major problem with the car anyway.

John, the shifter is OE. Nice placement and ergonomic though. Too bad its a damn automatic.
