'58 Imperial - Crown (Limo), Is it Famous?

My father passed away last year and now my mother has his cars. This one is a 1958 Imperial Crown Limousine. I do not know everything about it yet, but I'm working on it. My dad was set on it being the actual car featured in the Godfather Part II movie but had no paperwork to back him up. I have been reading through forums and see there are a couple things to look for with the car they used, but to really know for sure, I would need to verify and confirm the VIN right? Anyone know how I can do this?

More info: All original with 325 horsepower 392 cubic inch V8 engine, Power everything, Seats 6 (?)...

I tried to attach pictures here but I kept getting an upload failed error. Where can I match VINs from car to movie records? If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,
Leah

if i remember right the 58 392 was 10.0 CR, the 57 was 9.25 CR. i think that was the only real difference. duel point distributor. the original caps said auto-lite. not autolite. . castiron trans torqueflite the factory service manual says to remove the gasket on the long spark plugs. cause the plug tube was the gasket.
