looked at one of those back in the 90's with my dad. after the test drive he told me all these things wrong with it. a few days later i wound up getting an 88 Monty Carlo LS without him. his first question was "what size engine?" it was a 305. he said "damn it, your gonna get yourself killed!" there was nothing wrong with the Charger, he just saw me take it to 85 in a 45 and decided that i was not going to have that car.

too bad...
hell ,
a young driver can kill himself in any car v-8 or a 4 [including older drivers]
iv'e had friends nearly kill them self's in all kind's of vehicles. hp was never the issue.
And as a mater of fact my friend had a 88 Monty Carlo and we nearly died in it.

guess he thought a slow car was better for his lead foot son. but i see your point. just need to be careful behind the wheel

i did allot of crazy stuff in a car when i was younger.. oh man!!!
Been over 150 over 2 dozen times and not for short sprint's but for miles.
Lost count of drag racing
Was in a 30 car race once.
Lost cop's.
Drove like a nut.
But i never caused a accident even too this day .
There's a time and place for everything.
The older you become the wiser you become behind the wheel.

I gotta tell ya, a can of Gunk, a couple of scotch-brite pads and a few rattle cans of paint and that engine will come alive in an afternoon.
