It is always a good feeling to get the ole girls out after a long cold winter. I just got mine out myself when I started it up it smelled like it was running on paint thinner or varnish.. I looked at the fuel filter (glass inline) and it was orange color... So I went down and filled up with high test and it is now almost clear color. And runs a lot better too. I put star tron fuel additive in it last fall which is suppose to take away all the effects of ethanol fuel ... At least it fired right off and even idled.. Very nice car have fun and enjoy the summer....Bill

Lynn.... As far as the talks are going... It's still up in the air, But it' leaning more toward it will stay for the 2015 Calender year. But there still is no long term commitment. The investors just dont have a clear plan yet on what there going to build i think....lol

Swampy hot hujmid bug infested Missouri

I'll trade with you and I grew up back east where they have real winters too. Don't care for the hot temps here, cutting grass in 90 degrees, painting the house, sweat, bugs, tourists everywhere, you can have it. I used to take my cars out on cold days when the roads were clear. Nothing like a nice sunny day, not a cloud in the blue skies and it is 30 degrees out. Yes, sir...

I lived back east and DID drive mine all year long. I also lived in California and, no offense, was glad to get out. Too hot, too crowded, and CARB, you know who they are...always after anyone not driving a chlorophyl powered earth car. But you still Rock and I'm glad you are keeping the hobby alive out there. I have to salute you for that.

What are you talking about? You are one of my favorite people on this forum and have given me some great advice. We got to have a laugh now and again. Yes, you are right. the car scene in So-Cal must be seen to be believed. When I moved, took a 66 Sport Fury (440) 68 Barracuda (soon to be 360) and 66 convertible Valiant with me (slant six). Here in Missouri (a state that should be spelled " I HOPE-YOU-LIKE-HEAT-AND-TICKS) I picked up a 68 Dodge Charger (440). I started working on the Charger but, not knowing how to cut, weld, and deal with incredible rust, I returned to my California girls as they are sitting with no rust.

My youngest daughter wants to go to UCLA. What do you say about that school? If she does (in about 3 years) I'll come out and give you a holler. Like I said, your car scene is the Mecca, must be experienced, and I'm thankful I did.
