I'm getting anxious to see this project completed, it's not your average truck. You will have a great time talking to everyone about it, you won't be able to go anywhere without a conversation.

Actually working on a project like this is a testimony of patients, it hard a tedious work that at times is never ending. It's done one panel at a time over and over.
if every thing goes well the rest of the time the shop has it you might offer the guy that did the most work a token of appreciation say a $100 or whatever in Canadian.
you wouldn't believe how that will make that guy feel, he will talk about it for years.

Is that the two part coating that has to be painted?

The last shop I worked had that it's a two part urathane I believe that can be colored. I was told that it must be painted. I stayed away from it but it seems like a durable product. The worked on big trucks and used it on frames, fuel tanks and fenders. Oh big bumpers also.
Your going to have a nice rig when you get done!

I haven't been around when it was applied, but I know they do a lot of this stuff in the shop. Quite a few people are getting it done along the lower foot or so of their pickup bodies. Really helps with keeping the rust away with all the chemical crap they put on our roads in winter here. It's also been applied to the fenders and bumpers of my truck. Not just for rust protection but helps with rock hits.

Well, every piece, large and small, has been painted. The bed still needs to be box lined and a couple of nicks need to be fixed. Waiting on some moulding and new glass for the doors and rear window. We decided to go with tempered rather than what we originally ordered. Once the ordered items arrive we will be ready for the final push. I think shop is planning to get many pieces reinstalled this week depending on how busy they are. We are closing in on 3 years. So damn close now.

Dennis purchased a 70 Challenger with part of his settlement money...then did a straight trade for this Challenger. Should be painted in a couple of days.

Good looking rig!
There is a truck around Charleston, SC that looks similar to this. Green paint and everything.
It's lowered and running some fat tires on the rear axel.
Looks mean as hell!
