Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 67 Belvedere , 383 2bbl, am changing to a 4bbl, will the air cleaner be the same as a GTX?? Are all of the dual snorkels the same for that year??

Not sure if you mean will it be restoration correct or will it fit? Can't help ya on the first but the std size for most 4V carbs is a 5 1/4" diameter opening for the air cleaner.

The GTX should have used the more modern "larger" hole that is current standard for AFBs, AVS, Holley, Thermojunk, and Quadrajunk, etc

Some of the earlier 4bbls were smaller air horns. The 273 4bbl Commando engines were smaller, as was such cars as the "street 426 wedge" as was in my old 64 '440 / Polara

Sorry, what I should have said was do I have to use the dual snorkle or is there another option. Seems the dual snorkles are a little more money than I wanted to spend!!!

I you are not a "restore correct freak" you don't even need to use a factory air filter. Why not get ahold of one of the "speed shops" and get an aftermarket filter?

If it's a std size carb ring, just buy an after market air cleaner from Moroso, Edelbrock, Mopar, etc. It will be more efficient and look better, providing you're not going for a stock look.

I recall in the old days, there were reducers to fit the aftermarket air cleaners to non-std size carbs. Not sure if they are still available.

Reducers should be available, I came across a few a couple years ago when I needed the spacer to fit my filter on the carb, but it was an older parts shop with orig stock still from the 70's.
