These are all very nice cars . I think the amount of work put into the car buy its owner to bring it to its current condition should be taken into concideration. Anyone can buy someone elses dedication to the hobby. But does the current owner deserve the gradification for having money. I appreciate talking to owners that their cars are what they made them . And they stand proud even if its a puttied up 4 dr Coronet sitting next to a pristine Superbee. They did it themselves. It looks to me nomadci has alot of love and labor in that 69 Roadrunner. Don't over look that. The Aspen is nice but was just bought in its current condition no labor involved . The Challenger wasn't even touched yet.Of the cars mentioned so far I am standing by the Roadrunner. Although I am not for retro. Its looks like the car was his vision of what it should be and is a very nice quality job. nomadci you got my vote even if it stands for nothing. Good luck

It's not true about my car...I am the only one posting an on going thread in the "F" body thread...I had the money and I am fixing up the car on a daily basis...check it out...https://moparforums.com/forums/f13/i...ne-these-7407/

Your car is definately a car of my taste and seeing you are deeply involved in detailing it to pristine condition deserves a appology for my statement about you buying it in its current condition. Good luck. And your nomination was well warranted. My mistake Steve

No Problem Steve....I am a great Mopar fan and you will see my progress on my 1981 Plymouth Gran Fury someday..start on it this upcoming spring...

I personally find this a bit offensive. If you were to see before and after pictures of my car it really wouldnt look like I have done too much but the truth is that the Only thing I havent really got around to touching on my car yet is the paint and seats. When I got it it had a flat hood, no spoiler the grill was painted the same color as the car with the chrome trim on the sad face, the paint on the tail panel was in terrible condition. The floor boards were rusted pretty badly, the carpet was terrible, it had a roll cage that was half ass cut out in it. I cleaned out all of the rust put a couple of patch panels in it, cut out the rest of the roll cage, put new caulking and plugs in the floor. It had a busted head gasket (didnt bust on a water port so really just sounded terrible) I fixed that. Put the other header on it... the guy hadn't installed it yet. I bought the rally hood for it Painted it myself. I put a lot of trim pieces on the interior that were missing. I have done a ton of adjustment on the fenders and doors. I had to buy a new window regulator for the driver side and installed it. New wiper motor, new carburetor, Soon to have a new dash pad in it, new power steering pump, new exhaust from the headers back..... the list goes on and on. Just cause one guy has had his car for a bit longer and had more time and money put into doesnt mean the other guy doesn't have the same enthusiasm and passion in his own car. Nomadci's roadrunner is a beautiful car, but it doesnt mean that he has more passion and enthusiasm than the rest of us. I hope my challenger will be that nice someday but it's going to take a while because unfortunately I don't too much extra money. Believe me if I had a ton of money and time my challenger would be immaculate and winning car shows. Just thought I would put the word in for the guys like myself. Everyone has their opinions and views. Yes, but not everything is what it seems. You could see a guy driving a beautiful completely flawless 70 challenger down the road, and another guy in a 70 challenger that is in primer and fair condition. The case could very easily be that the guy in the beautiful one paid a lot of money to have it done. And never actually worked on it for a second. And the guy in the primer one have months or years into it. My vote would be on the primer car. Have a good day sir.

....Im honored to accept the nomination. Even though Ive done nothing to the car Im sure you all understand I dont want to start work until its going to be done right & seen all the way through... but believe me Ive put in many hours of work, conversation, negotiation & sleepless nights over the course of many months to just make the purchase happen for me.
