1968 Chrysler Newport Custom Tires
I wanted to keep the stock 14" Wheels. Would 215 75 14 fit ok? Right now it has 205 70 14s on them. Here is the link. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=215

ok here is something i found the 215 75 14 is a little taller than the 225 70 14.
Original tire
Sidewall: 6.20 in
Radius: 13.20 in
Diameter: 26.40 in
Circumf: 82.94 in
Revs/mile: 763.90
New Tire
Sidewall: 6.35 in
Radius: 13.35 in
Diameter: 26.70 in
Circumf: 83.87 in
Revs/mile: 755.45
Original tire
Sidewall: 6.20 in
Radius: 13.20 in
Diameter: 26.40 in

So wouldn't the 215 75 14 be a closer match being the original side wall translates to 80 and the width was 217? Just looking for opinions of which tire would be best. Want whatever is closest to the original. Thanks.
