dodge truck 20 inch aluminum rims leaking
 

anybody have this trouble, my 04 1500 dodge pickup wheels
leak air. i believe it is caused by the clear coat they put on
them and it is coming loose and causing leaks. all four tires.
can these be buffed without causing them to carrode and
still leak.
on a limited budjet so i can't afford new rims

You need to dismount the tires and remove the clear from the tire bead area You could do it with some wet & dry sandpaper. A 3M fiber disk on a die grinder, a sanding flapper wheel, lots of ways. It is a matter of getting the bead clean.

Are your wheels chrome plated?
