I know no question is a dumb question but

Just bought a 1967 belvedere.
My question which I am sure sounds dumb is
how do the lug nuts come off clockwise or counter clockwise
Wasn't sure been forty years since I had a Mopar.
thanks for viewing

thanks

If everything has been replace? there all left hand tread more than likely...

Left hand on right side (passenger side), right hand on drivers side. Take a wire brush and clean end of stud to see "L" for left hand thread.

lug nuts removal

so if the studs are marked L I would turn them which way to remove
clockwise or counter clockwise? Sorry for not understanding.

thanks

If they have a "L" on the stud, turn them clockwise to remove them. Many times you will find out that the studs have been replaced with RH thread studs. I had to explain to a young man what clockwise meant because everything is digital now.

Racerhog,
You seem to be a wealth of information. I'd like to thank you again for the valve specs on my 1932 Dodge. I located my original owners manual which is most helpful.
I tried to ask another question with a couple of pictures??? Not sure I'm smart enough to have done it right??? If my message comes through and you might know of anyone that might help identify the bolts it will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
32Torry
