Talking New Wheels for the Magnum

Wanted to freshen up the look on the Magnum. So I purchaced a set of
wheels off of Craigslist.

Here's the before and after pics!

Wow, like totally different, Right!? LOL
The first set are the factory 15x7's that come on Magnum GT's. The new
set are factory 15x8's that come on 1978 Aspen/Volare Kit Cars and
Super Coupes. They are almost an inch deeper then my originals. OK
yeah, most wouldn't even notice the difference? I really like the GT rims
that come on the Magnum GT's but in my opinion the wee bit wider
15x8's give the Magnum a better stance?!

too it. Big difference in depth

You can get aftermarket Cop wheels that are close to these, they have
the tabs for the dog dish hub caps.
They come in 15x6, 15x7, 15x8 and 15x10's

It looks great, the side by side photos are pretty dramatic.

it's a beautiful car! very rare around here i don't think i've ever seen one here, the shape and the style are as modern as any car today. and the rims give it a nice beefy look, perfect choice.
i got to have one!
how about more pictures?

Yeah, if you didn't have the side by side pics you'd think nothing had
changed?

Thanks, I have a few of them. The Black GT is the only one I have here
in Florida!
More pics:

1979 Black Magnum GT E58
1979 Red/White Magnum GT E58
1979 White Magnum GT E57>E58
1979 Triple Black Magnum XE E56>E58
1978 White Magnum GT E64
1979 White/Red Chrysler 300 E58

As for finding a Magnum? I have a thread dedicated to just that called
the "MAGNUM Hot list!" PM me for details.

You know of any Mopar car shows or Get togethers in the area?

Found them on Craigslist. A member on a Forum I'm a Super
Moderator/Administrator on found the ad and turned me on to it. I was
looking for a set of centers at the time and these wheels had them. The
guy was only asking $150.00 for the set of rims and centers. As soon as
I seen the ad I called and lock them to me! I even talked him in to a
lower price? $135 plus $100 for the shipping!?

So yeah, I got a pretty good deal! There are a set of two on eBay right
now for $350 obo+shipping with out centers or rings.
Most sets I've seen, go for $450.00 w/o extras to $800.00plus
Originals will be stamped 3880858 next to the valve stem.

I see you have a 77 Aspen! There is a company that makes aftermarket 15x8's. That was what I was going to do if I hadn't found these. If someone really wanted my rare Super Coupe wheels I'd be willing to part with them if the price was right, or trade for a set of new (69 Series) 15x8(x2) & 15x10(x2) cop wheels from Wheel Vintiques.
