Redlines

Hi everyone, hope you are all well...... Im after advice and opinion on the subject of redline tyres. I have a 68 Polara with a nice set of chrome road wheels (I always call them Magnum 500s for some unknown reason!). Ive always loved redline tyres on these wheels and would like to know if anyone knows how wide the redline is for that classic late 60s look? I know there are several options but would love to know what you guys think I should go for (when Ive saved enough money that is!!)

Many thanks Steve

I think Coker tire is the Co that still makes them. They do not come in wide sizes that I know of..

I have attached a link for "Diamondback Tires". It says that their redline tires start out as BFG Radial T/As. The BFG warranty is void and Diamondback carrys their own warranty.
I don't have any experience with these but, I have considered redlines on my Fury.

So, I was looking at other stuff and came across these on ebay from Coker. It looks like they're using a BFG Silvertown tire.

Thanks for the help.... The online catalogue has a picture of the redlines on the same wheels I have and they look awesome! I wasnt aware of issues with blowouts etc... Is this as a result of poor quality or manufacturing processes? Anyone had experience of this or any advice before I consider parting with a good chunk of please

I bought the Diamondback redlines that are done on Michelin X radial tires, the best they have. They cost more, but are probably worth it. Good luck.
