i just picked up a 1966 dodge coronet four door sedan. It has some mustang rims on it that have improper backspacing. I'm curious to know what the stock rim and tire size was on the car, or what size rim and tire I can use with proper backspacing. Any help I get would be much appreciated, thank you.

IIRC, the stock wheel on that car was probably a 14x6 with 4" backspace. Or something pretty close to that.
