Will these fit my 73 roadrunner?
Hey all! You all have been extremely helpful in the past so i thought i would ask much more educated people than myself. does anyone have opinions on whether these factory mustang wheels will fit my 73 roadrunner?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/XYZ-2013-4/ I was strongly thinking about purchasing these and switching the emblems on the center cap to the roadrunner or mopar symbol. My suspension is all factory as are my hubs. Discs in front drums in back. Any thoughts? |
These wheels have almost 6 1/4" of backspacing and most factory Mopar wheels are in the 4 1/2" range. The bolt pattern should work but, without a big spacer, they'll look funny.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider putting a 'Mustang' wheel on any Mopar with the exception of a 7" wide Magnum 500.... |
Go to Speciality Wheels and get you some Magnum 500 or Road wheels with the center caps and beauty rings. Keep it mother Mopar looking.

If you need aluminum wheels You can get the Magnaum 500 style in a 17" from Year One

offset has gotten you, no they wont work without a spacer as was mentioned, and that thick of spacer is unsafe....
