1973 Charger Trunk Weatherstrip Question
 

Hey guys, I need a little help. We are working on a 73 Charger and are having trouble getting the trunk weatherstrip to work. There was no weatherstrip on the truck we we got the car. I ordered a new trunk weather strip from Year One and it holds the trunk up way to high. I know that new weatherstrip will normally do this to some extent but it is way to bad. Have any of you used this product or does anyone have a picture of how the strip is supposed to be installed?

A picture is worth a thousand words. Perhaps you could post some pics of your problem. Hopefully you have got it solved, in that case, please post your own solution!!!

I'm having the same problem with the seal I ordered from Year One for my 72 Roadrunner. It's the "D" Shaped seal for 72-74
