340 pistons
 

Some of the pistons tops of the 340 engine that I bought had a white deposit on them so it's obvious that they had been in contact with a different metal and had reacted with it. I cleaned off the deposits and there is minor pitting on the piston heads. Should I be concerned with the pitting?

no as long as there is no cracking, you are good,
