68 Satellite Wiper motor problem

When I tutrn on the wipers in my car it goes right to high speed no matter what position the switch is in. If I flick it off and on sometimes it will go to slow. Any ideas what might be wrong. Thanks Ken

Leaning toward the switch myself. Let me know if you need a schematic.

Check the ground, those rocker switches don't work too well without a good ground. 2 or 3 speed wipers?

On some of those switches the housing grounds directly to the dash frame, others need a wire from the switch body to a metal ground. Those 3 speed switches have a resistor mounted on them that controls the 2/3 speeds. Without the proper ground they will do some funky stuff.
