I changed the distributor in my car and the timing is dead on, but I am getting blow back through my carb, and it won't idle. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll mention the obvious first so don't be offended.
1. Are you using points? If so, check your points and setting.
2. The distributor goes in 2 ways. Did you possibly put it in 180 degrees off?
