70 Sport Satellite
Can anyone tell me if the rallye dash can be put into the dash of a sport satellite and if so what is needed to do this.Also what piece goes just above the door pannels?Both of my doors have about 4 round holes just above the door pannels.I do not know or can I find any pictures of what the piece is that is missing.And are the 1970 Charger bucket seats the same that was used in the roadrunners?And last (for now) what years of steering columns will fit a 70 sport satellite.Someone cut the shifter off mine and put a floor shifter in it.I want to either put it back on the column or replace it with a floor shift column.

Some Roadrunners, and at "least" some GTX's came with a Rally dash, but I don't know if it was the same as the Charger--so far as bolt in--or not. This means that the proper one will fit.
So far as the door panel problem, I can see nothing in my old shop manual. It's been years for me.....
The seats from the Chargers should be basically the same, just different trim
So far as columns, 'donnoo' The '69's certainly won't--no column ignition. That leaves maybe '71-2. Since the dashes were vastly different, my guess would be no I would think, though, that you would not have to replace the entire column--just the trim piece.

Thanks for the response.I dont know too much about the satellite/roadrunner cars.Something was on the doors above the door pannels.I didnt know if they had a trim up there or if there is an upper and a lower door pannel or what.The holes are the same on both sides and look like they are factory.Is there a sorce out there for parts for the column?It would pretty much everything.The 70 roadrunner has the round guages in there rallye pannel.Mine has the long 120 MPH one.I would like to put in the rallye.I have herd it both ways that it will fit and that it wont.
