Who said that it will bolt right up?

What engine do you have in there now, and what size is the engine in the ram?

"727 torqueflite tranny rebuilt w/all B&M parts . Has all B&M internals as well as shift kit .Kevlar bands and B&M torque converter (slightly higher stall than stock for higher torque)Excellent for on the fly shifting .Only has about 3000 miles since rebuild.Tranny will fit any small block mopar motor(5.9 or 5.2) .Came out of a 1980 Ramcharger ,was then in 1985 W-250.It is out of truck and taking up space in my garage. Also have flex plate required for 360(5.9 litre) motor hook up (internal balanced) "

this is what the ad said

From that I would say you would be able to hook it right up to your current engine, but I am not sure about the 340. I assume someone has an answer for you on the forums.
