78 cylider head help......

78 cylider head help......

I had my engine disassembled by another person who never marked anything or put it back together. My heads match up on both sides, or it looks so to me. But I need to know how to tell which side of the motor they go on. Any advise is good advise. Thank you.

I have a 1978 318, Stock 2 barrel.

does not matter unless there are some bolt hole issues for brackets or such. (extremely rare) So go ahead and just throw em on there and dont worry about it. The heads should be identical.
