915 Heads

Ok, I have heard many different stories. Can someone please tell me, was the 915 head a one year head, or did it go onto 68 383's?

Well there was a "915" casting from 70-72 for the 360's with 1.88/ 1.60
There was 2 versions of the "915" in 67 the 2.08/1.60 version and the 2.08/1.74 version.
Also there was a "915" that came on the 340TA in 70 this was a 2.02/1.60 head and then again 0n the 340 from 71-72 with the 1.88/1.60 combo.

Then the 906's came on the scene in 68.

The 383 & 440 in 67 had the 2.08/1.60, the 1.74 version of the same head was on the 440HP in 67.

so, if my head had the 1.60 exhaust valve, it was probably from the 350 horsepower 440?
