Antifreeze leak
1978 Cordoba 360, have a leak from the power steering pump to block bolts/ bolt. Dont know which bolt is leaking and I know there are alot of bolts that enter water passages....but the PS pump?...never had this problem before. Any help, or suggetions would be helpful.

There is no possible way. You could have engine oil leaking into the cooling due to a leaking gasket or crack somewhere in a head or block You could have automatic trans fluid leaking into the cooling via the transmission cooler. There is no possible way that you are getting a leak from the PS into the cooling. |
Antifreeze seemed to be leaking from the ps pump to block mounting bolts, in other words, the leak was external. Car has been garage stored, and hasnt been run to full operating temp in two months ( up state N.Y,) so yesterday with no snow on the ground, decided to back it out and run it for awhile. Put it back into the garage, and noticed steam in the pump area.Today did the same and found the leak. Oil pan bolt at the front of the engine, right under the ps pump. Will repair in the spring....Thanks for the reply 440roadrunner:)

those bolts go into the cooling jackets and should have sealer on them.
