Unhappy is this block salvageable

i got this block to build a 408 stroker but when i pulled it apart i found this. i'm no longer gonna use it for that but could i have it welded and still use it for a plain jane 360?

My gut reaction is that block is a boat anchor. Kinda like my 400 that I was going to use as a stroker for my Duster. I believe that that pic is posted somewhere on this site.

Put it on the pile to go to the scrap yard. Or plant some flowers in it because the only way it going to make HP is if you drop it off a tall building.
