car runs for about 5 minutes than dies
 

first off thanks for all your help so far, now the problem i'm having now is that the car starts runs for about 5 minutes then dies, if i leave it for about 20 minutes it starts again and does the same thing, any ideas? it wont start right after it stalls. i believe it might be running to rich and is flooding the motor but not sure any ideas?

Electric, water or manual choke?

water? i think its vacuum

Try disconnecting your hot wire from your choke if it is electric and see what happens. Not sure if it will go into a safe mode and shut down automatically once you disconnect it, but give it shot. If it stays running....choke control mod is bad.
