Distributor question
Hi all
I have two distributors I saved as spareparts. One is from a 318 poly, and have a small oil filling cap at the bottom of the case. The other is, I think from a 1971, and don't have this cup. How does it get lubricated, is it by the oil pressure from underside, or what ?

Hi SportFury,That sounds strange,I have the 1966 big shop manual, and in the lub & mainteance chart it says :...in distributor oil cup,5-10 drops of engine oil every 6 month. Can it be that later models without cup have other type of bushings that don't need any lub. ?
