Dual Exhaust Question

Hi,

I currently I have a 383, 2 barrel carb with single exhaust.

I am looking to put dual exhaust on it to improve the sound of the engine and to maybe get a bit more performance out of her. She is pretty quiet now and doesn't sound "mean" enough.

I have heard of Walker, Dynomax, Borla, Magnaflow etc.....

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I assume you have/are staying with stock manifolds (no headers) be sure to go with 3" pipe and dont forget the cross over (like was done on mine)

Yup, I am planning on staying with the stock manifolds and going with the cross over as per your suggestion! Thanks for the tips!

Just as a follow up.

I kept the stock manifolds as they are in good condition, I went with 2 1/4 pipe ( I thought the 3" were a little big for my car), SuperZ, chrome mopar tips and did the cross over as per sweeperkings suggestion! Sounds and looks awesome! Even managed to get some more power out! Thanks for your help guys!

Good move. You actually want a little pressure.
