how to adjust vacuum advance
i want to add some timing to my 73 360 duster with electric choke if it matters, how do i set it with vacuum advance, and what do i need to do it that way or can i just plug off vacuum at dist and do it there? i want about 38*. thanks

You should be able to do that through the vac hose hookup with an allen wrench. I have never done it .. but will be doing it for the first time on an RV project I have.

is there a allen head screw inside of the hose port on the vac adv module? |

i think the allen screw was used on stock 318's in 68 or 69. you might find an aftermarket unit that will do this.

I think that ALL kits and separate distributors that MP sells has that feature. And this even includes the /6 !!

I have never seen a "chart" .... just do it by trial-and-error.

you could use a timing light to measure the before and after results.

OR ...take to to someone with a distributor machine.

well i messed around with it and the hesitation is out of it but i havent takin it up the road yet need to get some trans fluid 1st seems that it leaked out some from sittin
