On the part of the connecting rod that goes on to the crankpin journal there's two grooves where the bearings go into and on the other side there's a V. I was just wondering does the V point towards the inside or outside of the motor? This is for a 383. thanx

 

Nevermind, has nothing to do with that, the chamfer on the larger bore part of the connecting rod has to point toward the crankpin journal fillet
