How to remove fan wheel from blower motor
Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm trying to be gentle, so as not to ruin the squirrel cage fan, but I can't for the life of me get the fan off the blower motor shaft. I'm assuming it's rusted on, but 1/2 a can of PB blaster later and it still won't budge. Anyone got any tips, so as not to ruin the thing? The fan wheel alone is almost 50 bucks.

if there is no set screw, its damn near impossible with out damage to the cage, they are pressed on, good luck,
if it has a set screw no proplem |
If the project does go "tits-up" on you, just google "plastic blower wheel" Lots out there, its probably and off-the-shelf size.

Thanks....actually, this site may do the trick....
