how to tell difference
 

how can i tell the difference between a 318 &360.or should i say tell what motor i have know its not a big block this is in a 74 charger supposed to be a 318 car but the person we bought from sayed it was a 360 we want to know for sure thanks

The casting numbers wil say either 318 or 360. i can't remember if it is on the passenger side or the driver's side though. Who knows. maybe you'll get lucky and get a 340.:D

can you let us no what the casting numbers are and we can let you no ok

ya if you get us the #'s, we will know what it is.

under the head on the drivers side it should tell you or if u crawl under the car and look above the freeze plugs on the drivers side and it will tell you, strait up.
