what kind of metal shoul di use to fab my rear inner wheel wells and my hood scoop ?:)

16 gauge should be fine. maybe 12 for the scoop. one that is weldable too.

We are fortunate enough to have a metal supplier right here.If you don't then go to the junk yard. Vans are a good source of flat body metal and all the other cars have patch panels all over. Don't forget, a patch doesn't need to come off the same place on the donor car that you are looking for. The bottom door edge on a crown Vic may just match (close enough) the bottom quarter on a Mopar, that some bending and hammering you can make your own panels.
