Keith Black pistons

Hey all, i know everyone here hates Keith black pistons but talking with my machine shop I was told that the forged Kieth black pistons are not bad. I am doing a mild build up of a 318 and kieth black has some flat tops that give me a bit better compression.

Are the keith black pistons really that bad, The Forged ones I mean?

does anyone have expireience with the forged KBs?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Luke

Quality and durability is fine. A guy local put them in his 62 corvette and has had no problems for 10 years. The down side is the weight. They are a very heavy piston and that robs power big time.
