wiring
I need a 70 roadrunner ignition switch wire diagram.

for some reason, it will not turn over
it's not the starter! it turns over when i hit the relay
it's not the relay! it does even click
so don't even ask!

i don't know if it's in the switch, or if I have a loose wire? I was searching for the reverse light wire and after moving things around, no start

Please if anyone can supply a wire diagram, so I know what wires are what on the switch

thanks

Tish

70 roadrunner.
for some reason, it will not turn over
it's not the starter! it turns over when i hit the relay
I don't think it's the relay, I put a new one in but it doesn't click
something is not right, everything else has power
I checked the switch with a tester in start postition
brown-blue and black wires make contact with yellow
would like to know which wires the current follows through it's path to the starter, if anyone knows what to test

did you by chance knock off the neutral safety switch wire

Challenger

thanks for responding, I managed to find the problem, when hooking up the back up light, I reversed the wires at the relay where these back up wires also are connected. I ran some power into my old relay and it clicked and then it dwaned on me to try and switch those two wires and that was the problem. after a few nights on my back with a flash light trying to see if there was a loose wire under the dash, here it was a simple fix

thanks

its agrivating isnt it? Mopars run like heck, but the wiring sucks.I always put new harnesses on all my cars when i get them anymore, its worth the money not to have the headache of braking down, Ive seen some nightmares too. i got 1 car in to work on for a guy ounce, they ran a hot lead off the fuse block out the bulk head to the coil to get the motor running. And the insulation on it was melted and scraped and was grounding out on the firewall.
