how was it stored for that time? was it sealed up? and bagged? i'd get some marvel mystery oil and pour some into each of the spark plug holes then rotate the crank over by hand acouple of times then i'd prime the oil system making sure the oil is flowing through it good id also be kinda concerned about the lifters not being pumped up on second thought would you be able to buy a head gasket teardown set then inspect the top half of the motor atleast that way you can visually inspect everything cylinder walls, lifters intake valley for any dirt or critters then put some assy lube on the cam lobes and some oil in the cylinders to get the rings lubed dont want a dry start it will smoke at first but it will clear up and id pump the lifters up with some oil too and let them soak in oil for awhile to that is if your running hyd lifters dont forget to prime the system with oil

everything ef said i would do also, but also check to make sure your rear and front seals are not hard and dryrotted allready as with no oil on them sometimes they break down prematurally as i have found out the hard way over the years but like ef says i would at least poor some oil in her and make sure there is no surface rust inside her , that would make a bad day for your rings also  if you started it up dry i would rather have smoke coming out of it for awhile then to have scorn cylinder walls
