Odometer Help

I recently purchased a 1988 Daytona Pacifica. The speedomter worked but the odometer portion didn't. The guy I bought it from included a new instrument cluster that he had bought and said it needed to be replaced. I put the other one in and again, the speedometer worked but the odometer didn't. I then took the individual speedometer/odometer gauge out of each cluster and swapped them and plugged them both in and still the odometer didn't work. On the the back of the clusters there are 2 plug in wiring clusters. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Your distance sensor probably is bad. It mounts on transaxle a few inches below the starter on the fire wall side (sucks to get at) good luck.

Thanks

Thank-you. I will take a look at the distance sensor.
