proform electronic distributor

i bought a proform dist for the 440 and was wondering if anyone else runs this brand and if its any good because it seems to cost alot less then the others for some reason. i already received it and it seems to be a good quality part but i dont know for sure.

part number- PRO-66995

any input would be great.

Dist.

It looks alot like other so-called Quality electronic dist. kits. My son-in-law got one for a GM and it functions fine. I think ALL are made in China or the like and you pay for the name.
I saw recently that figureines of the founding forefathers in the U.S. senate are made in China.
Many items say only that they were assembled in U.S. which would indicate components are manufactured elsewhere.

Proform Parts

It looks to be a good kit. Now days everything is made in china even MSD. I have not used Proform Parts distributors , but I got 2 carbs from them and I was very Pleased. Hope this helps . Bob

Just curious, are parts easy to get if you break down on the road? Do they use the same cap and rotor?

the cap and rotor appear to be the same but i dont have the old ones anymore so i cant compare them side by side.

thanks bob that does kinda help. atleast now i know they make atleast some good parts.lol
