Steering issue

I have a 2004 Ram 2500 Diesel with 171000 miles on it. Recently I have been having a bad floating sensation in the steering when I drive the truck. I had the ball joints and some other steering components replaced by a Cummins authorized service center. This issue got better but it is still present. I also replaced the sway bar links last summer myself. See picture below. Could I have screwed up something on the sway bar when I replaced the links and could that be causing the severe floating sensation.

Link pins are in correctly. You say floating. Is the sensation like a slow bouncing as you drive down the road? A broken spring could cause that as could a blown out shock. This may sound weird but check the back springs, they are often the culprit in causing a bounce.

One bad shock can have the sway bar working just going down the road.

I agree in some ways..... If the back of the truck looks like it is sagging? that will make it feel light in front.... The Springs may need to be replaced? Not sure how hard you work the truck.

Just a side note.... If you have put tires on the truck a this started happening..... We have found that some of the manufactures have had sidewall issues.
when you drive on a crowned road >>>>> And or drive over one of those Drainage squares... The truck wanders all over the place.... It is a very unsafe feeling...
