torsion bars

if I put a V8 in my slant six Dart, would I have to change the torsion bars for the extra weight?

I would recommend it, I have run /6 bars with a V8 and I really didn't see a big difference although I didn't run it real hard.

you don't have too, but depending on what you are doing you might see a slight benefit in handling by changing them.

I you're going drag racing, the '6 bars might even be BETTER, because you might get the "front end action" you want for weight transfer
