torsion bars
if I put a V8 in my slant six Dart, would I have to change the torsion bars for the extra weight?
I would recommend it, I have run /6 bars with a V8 and I really didn't see a big difference although I didn't run it real hard.
you don't have too, but depending on what you are doing you might see a slight benefit in handling by changing them.
i hope not
 i just put a 383 in my vf ute (aussie dart pick up) it has 225 bars in it and there almost 40 year old... i was hopeing to save every last bit of weight for racing?

I you're going drag racing, the '6 bars might even be BETTER, because you might get the "front end action" you want for weight transfer
thats the plan
